Contents of your Novice Ride pack
- Minimum duration of 3 hours
All season - You will discoverClose to the slopes and low elevation off-pistes
- Elevation
Not too much though! - Be relaxESF provides you with the safety kit : backpack, beacon, shovel, probe
- You need to bringYour pair of skis or snowboard, a helmet (obligatory!), a bottle of water, a small snack, your ski-pass.
- Prepare your outingAnalysis of the mountain environment, the different types of snow and the weather, knowledge of the avalanche risk scale
- On the spotDiscover the safety rules, off-piste and group riding techniques, communication in the mountains
- In case of alertKnow how to warn the emergency services, send your GPS coordinates and know how to use an avalanche transceiver, shovel and probe.

- Prepare your outingAnalysis of the mountain environment and snowpack, knowledge of the types of avalanches, smartphone apps use
- On the spotGet into freerando, deepen your technique, play with terrain and speed, understand group interactions
- In case of alert
Locate yourself, send your GPS coordinates, use the avalanche transceiver, know the techniques of sounding and shoveling
